  • Academic Pathways – Academic Extension classes for the gifted students.  Class sizes are small enabling teachers to support students in achieving their individual learning outcomes.
  • Homework Club and Subject Tutorials – operates Monday - Friday after school in the College Resource Centre. This is a free service to all students and is provided by qualified teaching staff and past scholars of the College.
  • Laptop Program – All students are issued with a College Laptop during orientation. The College’s Laptop Program and the use of a Learning Management System necessitate the integration of technology in all learning spaces.

St Thomas More's aim is to provide an excellent all-round education for every student. The College opened in 1974 and from inception developed a strong commitment to the pastoral care of students. The College has just over 1050 students. Founded on enduring Catholic Values, the College has an excellent Pastoral Care Program, based on our belief in the dignity of the individual. We offer a complete curriculum to meet the needs of all learners with both vocational and academic pathways in the Senior School. Additionally, the College offers a wide range of co- curricular offerings in sport and the performing arts.

The Senior Years offer all students in Year 10, 11 and 12 a number of pathways for their future career.  These pathways include a diverse curriculum offering Queensland Studies Authority subjects for students wishing to gain entry into various tertiary institutions, as well as the opportunity of studying at TAFE or completing a traineeship with one of many local businesses.
